New Kids Fashion Photos

New kids fashion photography in LA.

New work added to a new kids portfolio from kids fashion photographer Mike Henry. Shot outdoors in the Southern California sunshine, Mike and his crew had a wonderful time getting to know these kids as they hiked through the California wilderness and enjoyed the peaceful environment.

Maine Landscapes

I just finished a 10 day job in the Portland, Maine area...Man, it's SO amazing up there! Everywhere you turn is a shot...If only time permitted, I could really spend a month or so up there shooting landscapes. Alas, not much time for landscapes, but thanks to my iphone and my trusty "The Best Camera" app, I was able to grab these images at the end of a few long days.

Stage Stores - Annual Report

Hey! The Stage Stores annual report is finally out and features this photo we shot last fall on the inside cover. I keep threatening to put out a kids portfolio...and someday, I might just do it...it's coming. I'll keep you posted here.

Location Scouting in Los Angeles

Gotta Love L.A. for all of it's diverse locations. In the Los Angeles area you can (seemingly) be in Africa, NY, Colorado, Hawaii....it's GREAT! Here are some shots I took while location scouting for an upcoming fall fashion shoot.

Personal Note

On a personal note, I got married last week in Playa Mujeres, Mexico. Probably wouldn't have mentioned it, if it weren't for the amazing photo's we ended up with. We were lucky enough to be surrounded by great photographers...Thanks Coy, Stacy and Marisa!

We spent a week with our closest friends and family at the La Amada Spa & Resort. Such an amazing place that is off the beaten path, we couldn't have had a better time. And the Spa...whoa. Probably one of the better ones I have been to in the world!

Putting Them Together

Here's some shots from one of my recent castings. I didn't think much of the photo's individually, but when I put them all together I thought it looked pretty cool. Not to much different from a portfolio or any body of work. Each image standing alone rarely carries the same weight as when you put them all together.

A Little Creative Inspiration

Amazing short, stop motion, animated film via a chalkboard, by Lucinda Schreibe....found (here).  Thanks, Lucinda nice work.

Old Portfolio Pages

Out with the old, in with the new.  I have been using Moab Entrada fine art paper for the portfolio...Double sided and beautiful....No More Sleeves!   Though it makes changing the order of the book, more than difficult.
